Entry #25 - It's a Zoo

"Do you think elephants have toothbrushes?" (She) wondered.

(He) shuddered.

"Why is it just sitting there?" (He) asked.

"What's it suppose to be doing?" (She) responded.

"In the commercial it wears an afro and sings circus songs."

"Right."

Entry #24 - Bass Shop is Kicking

"There is a whale in the store," (She) said.

"I see it. How could I not see it? It doesn't even take up that much room..." (He) replied.

"It's looking right at us," (She) said nervously.

"It's not real," (He) replied.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Are those bass real?" (She) asked.

(He) sighed. "They're catfish."

"Whatever. Real?"

"Real."

"Really? In a store? Where the hell are we? It's like redneck Disney World in here."

"Hold me..." (She) said as she leaned in closer.


"Not. Real." (He) whispered in return.

Entry #23 - Head to the Beach

"So, how do you feel about the beach?" (He) asked.

"I'm fine with it. It's great. To look at." 

As long as my bristles don't get wet. 

(She) didn't want (Him) to know how badly (She) frizzed.

Entry #22 - A Gallery Show, a Drag Queen, and (Us)

"There is something very surreal about these paintings. They remind me of Salvadore Dali's work. There's no real sense of definitive space. It's very enjoyable to look at," (He) said.

(She) just looked at him and wondered where (He) had been (Her) whole life...

"OMG. We are posing with Miss Gay R.I. and her teeth are gawgeous!"

Entry #21 - May the Floss be with You

"What do you mean you don't know who 'that guy' is?"

(She) found his lack of Star Wars knowledge disturbing.

"OMG. We are right next to a real Stormtrooper!" (She) gushed.

"Uh, you know that's probably some code monkey in a suit, right?"

"Really? You can't just let me have this?"

"This must be Luke Skywalker…" (He) was proud of (His) intuition.

"No. It's not. But they are from the same planet, well, technically Luke is not from Tattoine, but…"

(He) could not believe (He) was dating a nerd and yet (He) found (Her) geek knowledge adorable. Odd, but adorable.

Entry #20 - Batter up

 

(He) was so excited to share one of his favorite pastimes.

 As they gazed at the cotton candy sunset, (She) asked, "So, did anyone score a touchdown yet?"

Entry #19 - Are you going to Brimfield Fair?

(He) really liked (Her).

(He) just couldn't understand how (She) enjoyed looking at junk.

They regarded the large object of sweetness.
